• MPT1343 Compatible - The T2040 is fully MPT1327/ 1343 compatible and has MPT1352 approval, ensuring correct operation on the respective trunked network.
• Conventional Channel Operation - The T2040 can be used in conventional channel mode to access a conventional radio network or when out of range of the trunking system. A CTCSS option can be fitted on conventional channels.
• MAP27 Data Capable - When combined with a data interface kit, the T2040 can be used as a building block for data products. Alternatively, the addition of Direct Connect GPS software provides a GPS solution via the data interface kit.
• Advanced Hunt Routines - A wide range of hunt
  routines are programmable for the T2040, including Vote Now, ensuring that your system is used effectively.
• Automatic Number Identification - The caller’s identity number and status is displayed on your radio to allow easy identification of your callers.
• Multiple Network Capability - Operates on two
  different trunking networks for greater flexibility.
  Choice of network is user selectable via the keypad.
• Short Data Messages - Allows rapid exchange of simple messages such as 'At lunch' or 'En-route', without the need for voice conversation.
• DTMF Overdial - With a radio network PSTN
  interconnection, the T2040 is able to dial telephone numbers and communicate with remote devices such as telephone banking systems.
• Alphanumeric Labelling - Alphanumeric labelling can be programmed for up to 100 frequently called numbers. Allows immediate access to your regularly called numbers.
• Call Queuing - Queues incoming calls for greater
  efficiency and convenience.
• PC Programmable - Simple programming by PC enables the radio parameters to be set via the microphone socket.
• Security - The T2040 can be locked in its cradle.
